We are a business based on success fees.

There are two options:

  • The Support Option.  We handle the price negotiation from start to finish. Being unemotionally attached to a property purchase ensures that The House Buyers Agent can objectively guide and advise on the most appropriate price negotiation strategy. Our fees for this service range from 0.75% to 1.25% of the purchase price (based on complexity of the transaction).
Case Study (Hampshire, Q1 2022)
We negotiated the best price of £762,500 (Guide Price of £795,000). The fee was 1% and equated to £7,625.00.

  • The Saver Option. Again, we handle the negotiation from start to finish. Being unemotionally attached to a property purchase ensures that The House Buyers Agent can objectively guide and advise on the most appropriate price negotiation strategy. This service option is a no win, no fee solution. We establish what purchase price our Clients consider is fair and reasonable to pay. If we can secure a lower purchase price on their behalf, our fees are 25% of the differential.
Case Study (Cornwall, Q3 2021)
We brokered a deal for a property in the West Country in 2022. The property was valued at £850,000 and our Clients were prepared to pay £850,000. Ultimately, we successfully negotiated an offer of £775,000- saving our Clients £75,000 in the process. In this intance, The House Buyers Agent's fee was £18,750 (exc VAT). Our Client was over £50,000 better off having entrusted The House Buyers Agent to handle negotiations.

Yes. We do not source properties for you to purchase. The significant advantage of using The House Buyers Agent is that we are dedicated to saving you money on your house purchase. This may be through negotiation at offer stage, Stamp Duty or 'post survey'. Our fee structure is such that there is a positive correlation between how much we save you and our fees. That is a win win situation.
